I decided earlier this year that the car needed a little something, some TLC and a detail. I managed to get hold of some OEM performance kit and took the plunge, had them painted Tanzanite Blue and fitted by my detailer. Debadged the car at the same time for the stealth look as well and I'm pretty pleased with the result. Overall, the car looks more cohesive and has transformed it for the better I think. Anyway, some phots!

I also had the exhaust tips sorted as they were never right. When I had the conversion done the dealer made them quite prominent so the AC Schnitzer logo could be seen but I never liked it, it looked too much like a wheelbarrow. So the pipes were trimmed and the tips reattached with an adjustable clamp if I want to fiddle with them later. I was really happy with the way the guys did it so I've left them as is.

Just the right amount of modding without going overboard... as some i've seen, a definite improvement (y)

Cheers chaps, I wanted to keep it subtle. I've seen loads where the sills and splitter have been kept black plus the side M Performance decals as well, was never really a big fan of that look to be honest. For the rear diffuser I kept the central fins unpainted but the rest of was painted TB.

Modified but (or should that be and) classy. (y)

Do these sort of modifications affect insurance?

Looks good and very tasteful, Seen loads with the parts black as you say and I don't mind that look which would have been more subtle on a dark colour like yours but with parts painted it looks good as well and a bit different, glad you kept the fins at the back black and I agree with the tail pipes tweak as well, definitely look better now.
One thing I was wondering and it might not apply to this kit, I know that some kits state that the front splitter has to be fitted in combination with a lip spoiler on the rear, can't recall whether this applies to touring's either.

That's an interesting point, I hadn't thought of that. I must admit I'd always viewed the kit as form over function so I wonder if I've got it wrong.

Naughty and subtle. Very nice. I also approve of debadging but each to our own. I'd like to get some black or CF look exhaust tips. I must look into it.

That looks the absolute business, well done. You'll never see another, which is great.
