Is Broadspeed any good? whats the catch?
car broker, just researching https://broadspeed.com
I thought it was an option, I wasn't familiar with, for your new BM.
Are you considering buying new, @stellamaris5 ?
Probably not, way over budget but the deals are tempting. I don't think it's worth buying new to be honest, they lose so much value after the first year.
You should be able to achieve approx 22% off - if you play your cards right.
When I picked up mine brand new it was about £100 less than an equivalent less well specced one at 13 months old sitting on the dealer's forecourt.
22% wow .... show me the cards
After negotiating as much discount and p/x allowance as you can... take out BMW Finance you will also get a deposit contribution of around £2k (i got £1950 when i bought the Mini earlier this year) then pay off the loan immediately so you don't end up paying interest
Exactly right - don't ask for 'discount' - what you want are these - allowances, contributions, incentives and special deals.
My advice is first to get a written offer from a broker such as Broadspeed or coast2coast or carwow.
Then you shop around the dealerships asking them to match it.
My local dealer wouldn't even discuss it - the Financial Controller actually said (and I quote) "Someone has to pay for the coffee and the croissants."
Eventually I got a great deal at a BMW dealership some 450km away.
In addition to matching Broadspeed's quote, they offered the BMW financial package with a hefty contribution/incentive.
They made it perfectly clear that once I took possession of the car I could terminate early (note NOT cancel the finance)
I settled after 3 days and paid for 3 days of the loan.
Wow I just had a quote from CarWow on a 330d Step Auto M Sport, Automatic, Diesel at 2.9% on a £10,630 (26.9%) saving including a finance deposit contribution from BMW of £4,250. Not bad!
New 3 series must be coming soon!
So how much does that make it?
28,860 on finance. Standard no options
You don't get much as standard though.
I know but list is 39,490 I think so still a good deal.
I refuse to go over 40k and pay the 5 year extra VED charge
Ah, yes, good point. I totally forgot about that.
For anyone who wants to know the 40k charge applies to OTR price minus the first year road tax if the dealer pays for that.
So delivery, registration, options etc
So I can add folding seats and high beam assist and that's about it
Looks like some 0% APR deals coming through on 3 series saloon and tourer and X3
Not surprised at the X3(F25) it is right at the end of the production run so needing to shift them with the new X3 (G01) starting up.
